Series 2000 Automatic Insertion Press
Ver 6.01 Operating Software
Designed for the Series 2000 (2008 and 2018), yet can retrofit
to models 2007 / 2017, the software enhances the operation
of the Series 2000 press, speeds productivity, and improves
quality control. These features allow greater productivity
and reduced operating costs.
Smart Dwell/Force Verification
A method to ensure a consistent,
reliable, and secure installation by monitoring the installation
force and dwell time at each installation. Installation parameters
are verified to meet minimum standards established at set-up.
The operator is alerted if standards are not meet.
Soft Touch
Workpiece protection system
achieved by gentle work piece contact at fastener installation
that also reduces press installation noise. Use with soft or painted/coated work
pieces to protect the finish.
QX™ Turret Tool System
The PEMSERTER® QX™ Turret Tool System for use on the current model PEMSERTER Series 2000 automatic feed press provides a quick and efficient method to quickly change between anvil tools while handling the work piece to install different fasteners.
Series 2000® With Dual Bowl and QX™ Turret Tool System
The dual bowl expansion cart option and the QX™ Turret Tool system provides a quick and efficient method to quickly change between anvil tools while handling the work piece to install different fasteners. With the use of the second bowl on the expansion cart and the QX Turret Tool System, you can install up to four different fasteners; two in automatic feed mode and two in manual feed mode. A third bowl on a second expansion cart can also be added for appropriate applications.
Fastener
Length Monitoring (FLM)
A method to check the
length of each fastener prior to installation in the
workpiece. Using the optional
FLM hardware, the installation of the correct
length of each stud or
standoff can be assured reducing quality related callbacks and reworks.
Set-Up Access Codes
A quality system that
provides password access to levels of run/set-up/
maintenance functions.
By restricting access to certain press actions, chances for workpiece damage
and operator injury can be eliminated.
Maintenance Diagnostics
A control system that
allows different levels of access to digital and analog
controls to allow diagnostic
testing for maintenance and repair of the Series
2000 press. The trained
maintenance person can utilize these controls to uncover and solve press
operational issues keeping the press online for improved productivity.
